In anticipation (and celebration!) of the upcoming holiday, I am giving away, to one lucky reader, a set of my new Urchin No. 2 Note cards that are now available in my shop! I love the simplicity of these and the whimsical shapes...and they are blank inside, which makes them great for any occasion from a birthday to a thank you.

I want to hear who you would send a letter to if you could. It could be anyone in the world, dead or alive. You can answer and enter to win two ways:

I would send a letter to one of my nearest friends who just had a baby boy (who I have not seen yet), and tell her how happy I am for her, and how strong she has been through all of her issues. And of course how much she means to me.

I would send a letter to my maternal grandmother if I could. She died soon after I got married and missed out on seeing my beautiful children, whom I know she would have loved to bits.

I would send a card to my grandmother telling her how much I miss her and how much she meant to me. She passed away 2 years ago at the age of 102 & the day after Christmas was her birthday.
I would (and just might, now) send a letter to my Mom letting her know how much I appreciate all her love, support, and help! Especially since I've had my son who's now 3.5 months old.

I love your cards that can be used for different ocassions-that's my favorite type, and you make them so unique and with beautiful colors! You could frame them as pictures.

Beautiful cards! I would send one to my new friends in Zambia, Africa. My husband, brother-in-law and I spent two weeks working for a Christian organization that operates a medical clinic, school, churches, orphanage and farm. We're forever changed by our new friends. If only they didn't so far away!
If I could, I would send a note to my Grandfather who passed away when I was four. We were the best of friends, and to this day I miss him deeply!

I would write an encouraging letter of hope to someone but I wouldn't put a name on it. I would put the letter on a car window or some place it could easily be found. We all need hope regardless of where it comes from.

I would write a letter to my daughter who's in law school and stressed and thinking her world will always be like it is today. I'd tell her all things in due time and that she's blossoming at the exact time and place she should.

I am part of the Senior Adults Ministry at my church. I send cards to seniors having a difficult time. I love to send them cards of encouragement.
I would pen a note to my Grammy who will be turning 90 next month. She is a petite, sharp, tiny, hip, positive woman who is well-loved by everyone she encounters. While many, many people consider her a friend, at her age her true friends have nearly all passed on and letters truly brighten her day.

I often times send letters to my friend Lisa in South Carolina. We are both Jane Austin fanatics and love the whimsy of communicating through a well written letter.

I would send a card to my gram. She passed away this summer, and although we got really close and were able to say a lot while her health was deteriorating, there's so much more I want to know about her life, her opinions, her (and my) history. I want to be able to tell her how much I love and miss her, and that I know she is watching over my shoulder sometimes. She had the prettiest handwriting. I may not have inherited that from her, but I know she would have loved these notecards!
