inspired by: tiny animals

I love these little guys.  I'm thinking some variation might have to grace my Thanksgiving table this year.

A little sunshine for your Monday

Loving these yellow chairs at the Summertime and the Living Is Easy event in San Diego this weekend.  Styling by Sitting In A Tree.  Photo by Oh Joy!  Thinking I might need some for the backyard (to continue my obsession with the color yellow).

Wow. Just, wow.

My heart stopped for a second when I saw this image.  The contrast of the white interior of this Mexican patisserie with the bright colors of the macaroons is so breathtaking.  It's this kind of quiet, elegant simplicity that (quite literally) takes my breath away.

Blog Crush

I just discovered Dandelion and Grey via Twitter and I think I have a new blog crush!  Check out some of Erin's lovely styling (and more!) over on her blog.  I am particularly fond of this table scape she put together. (Sighs of happiness).  So lovely.

Baby Shower Invitations

I entered a little contest last week to design some modern baby shower invitations.  Here are the three designs that I entered.  You also might be seeing these designs around my Etsy shop in a week or so.  Know anyone prego?  Spread the word...baby shower invites are coming soon in the shop!

Minted Design Challenge

Good morning!

I thought I'd start the day off by sharing with you two of my entries into Minted's latest design challenge.  The challenge was to create a photo birth announcement that could work for a single child, or multiple.  Check out my entries below and over on Minted:

Happy {almost} Friday!

Laguna Art Museum 2010 Member's Magazine

I was fortunate enough a while back to be asked to design the annual Members' Magazine for Laguna Art Museum in Laguna Beach, CA.  Though it was a long process (longer than any of us anticipated!), the finished product is here!  The print copies will be available at the Museum for the entirety of 2010.  For those of us who don't live in LA and can't get to the Museum (although, you should go for the weekend!  Totally worth the trip.), a digital magazine can be viewed online here.  A few pages of the magazine can be seen below.

Thanks to MB and the staff of Laguna Art Museum for all their hard work and making my job easier!
