new in the shop!

Finally, right?  The holiday exhibition on Paper-n-Stitch forced me to get my butt in gear and design some new stuff for the holidays (plus a few extras).  You can find me over there through the 15th of December.  I have a little promo going (but you'll have to click through to see it.  Hehe.) and I'll be participating in Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales as well.  Let's have a little look-see at the new merch, shall we?

All the items above are available for purchase in my Etsy shop. Thanks for taking a peek!

Stationery vs. Stationary

Ahahaha!  I just had to laugh when I saw this.  Not only do I see people make this mistake (All. The. Time.), but it's also one of my biggest pet peeves when people confuse the two.  Might just have to pick myself up a tote (or two).  Adorbs.

New Items in the shop!

Hello friends!

Spring is upon us (well, in California at least)!  I've added lots of fun new spring-y cards to the shop as well as a (growing!) line of packaging items for all your crafting and pretty package wrapping needs.  Below are a few images, but you can see the entire selection over at the shop.

I'm also offering FREE SHIPPING on everything in my Etsy shop through March 15th!  Sign up for my newsletter (sent once a month, no spam, I promise!) to snag the promo code.

{On a side note, yesterday marked my 100th blog post!  It almost slipped right by me!  In celebration, I am going to be hosting a little giveaway at the end of the week.  More details to come soon!}

Today in the studio:

Test shots of my spring collection.  Shadows aren't quite right yet, so I'm going to have to wait until a little later in the day.  I hope the weather holds!

Here's a little sneak peek:

Giveaway with The Red Deer!

I am so excited to announce this giveaway! Alicia from The Red Deer (out of Australia) was the very first person to blog about my stationery. Recently, she reached 100 followers on her blog and contacted me to sponsor a giveaway for her followers. Since I have some new deer themed products, I thought it was a great idea! Head over to her blog to see all the great goodies you can win!

Vintage Flowers

I have been on a vintage imagery kick lately, scouring the internet/libraries/goodwill for old illustrated dictioneries and botanical guides. I found a few floral images that I love and decided to give them a fresh update with some punchy color in the form of some new note cards.

Pardon my French

This is another piece that was designed for a silent auction donation for this weekend in LA. For this journal, I created an Eiffel Tower entirely out of french words and phrases. Grab an English-French dictionary and learn something new today! This piece will also be for sale in my Etsy shop!

It's raining, it's pouring.....

We have had a wet and rainy start to the week here. Coming off a "feels like summer" weekend, it was a little bit dreary, but I have to admit, my garden is very happy! In order to appease my indoor-dwelling-self, I designed this cute note set in honor of the rain.

This note set will be part of a donation for a charity auction this weekend, whose theme this year is "Paris in the Spring". It is also for sale in my Etsy shop! Enjoy!

Allium and Butterfly Notes

I designed a birthday card for my best friend and decided to adapt it to personalized note cards for my Etsy shop. Below are the three variations:

These can be purchased at www.inklingpaper.etsy.com! Go ahead and tell a friend (you know you want to)!

Paris in Spring

I was asked to design a series of cards and paper goods as a donation for a charity in Los Angeles (another one). Their theme this year is called Paris in the Spring. I decided to dig through some of my photos from when I studied there two years ago and manipulate the images to come up with a set of unique cards, etc. Here is a preview of the series:

New Series

I am working on a new series of greeting cards inspired by nature. I have been playing around with texture and I think I may explore patterns like wood grain, river stones, and water. Some inspiration so far:
