I have quite a busy weekend planned!  It is the annual Harvest Festival in our little town, so that means a fish fry, a movie in the park, a parade, annnnnnnnnd wiener dog races on Saturday!  It's seriously the funniest thing to watch, ever.  Oh, wiener dogs, you're great for a laugh.  Fritz and Indy are looking forward to the race this year (they told me so).  Have a great weekend everyone.

I am headed out on vacation for a few days! So excited! J. and I haven't taken a real vacation since our honeymoon two years ago, so it is due. Geeking Out for Back-To-School

I love school.  And I'm not talking about the awful, soul-crushing abyss that was high school, no.  I'm talking about college.  Glorious college.  If I could be a professional student, I would do it in a heart beat.  To this day, my heart skips a little beat when I see all the bins upon bins of school supplies at Target.  Pencils and binders and notebooks, oh my!  In honor of the school year beginning again, I thought I'd put together a little round up of a few of my favorite things for this year's back-to-school season.

Today is not only great because it's Friday, but it is also the day I have been waiting for for the past year and I'm SO excited I can not sit still.  It is the thing I have been dreaming of my whole life as a homeowner.  Wait for it.  J. and I are having new windows installed today!  I'll finally be warm while I work!  Hooray!  It's been a long time coming with countless mornings sitting in front of the wall heater, but my dual-paned dreams are finally coming true.
